SCOPE:

To Design & Build Cart for handling Engine Assembly. The cart also needs to facilitate the sub assembly of engine and testing. The cart must also be capable of changing the orientation of the engine as per requirement.

EXISTING PROCESS:

Currently the Engine was assembled on a Stationary station and carried all the way to assembly areas using over head crane / forklift.

CHALLENGES:

The Engine weighs around 210 kgs, The cart had to be designed to provide access to engine assembly at all locations.
