SCOPE:

To automate assembly of motor and latch, test the assembled latch at half and full lock conditions, and to test the motor connectivity.
Automatically laser etch the part if accepted and reject if its not pass the test conditions

EXISTING PROCESS:

Assembling was done manually by using nut runners and manually test the locking conditions.

CHALLENGES:

To accommodate the number of variants in fixtures and to poka-yoke the fixtures for right part to go into right fixture. Automating the process of testing the assembly at half and full lock conditions
